The station of Mulhouse -Ville (Gare de Mulhouse- Ville) is the main station of the southern Alsace Mulhouse. , Operated by the SNCF train station with its two large halls and his monumental, elongated main facade is one of the most striking urban secular buildings of the city.

The first station of Mulhouse rose since 1840 ( other sources: 1838), at some distance from the present building. The second, 1842 -built station stood near what is now, along the line of Strasbourg -Basel and served in regular extended form until 1929. 1928-1932 the current station was built, the work of Charles Schulé, Albert Doll, R. Gélis and Gustave Umdenstock. The building was bombed in 1944 and 1955, constructed externally and internally simplified again. 2006 to 2009 the station was, fundamentally renovated in preparation for the opening of the LGV Est européenne high-speed lines and LGV Rhin- Rhône and the running front of the building Mulhouse tram.

Since the timetable change in December 2012, there are up to six pairs of trains a day again to Freiburg im Breisgau.
