Gareth David-Lloyd

Gareth David - Lloyd ( born March 28, 1981 in Bettws, Newport ) is a Welsh actor.

Life

David -Lloyd had already during his school days engagements at theaters in Newport and Cardiff. He made a drama training at the National Youth Theatre. Since 2003, he had various guest roles in television series such as Casualty, Absolute Power or Mine All Mine. In 2006 he was cast in a starring role in the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood. In 2008, he also appeared in two episodes of Doctor Who in his role as Ianto Jones. In 2011 he produced the film Casimir Effect in which he played the lead role and with his progressive metal band Blue Gillespie as the lead singer produced the soundtrack.
