This organization has worked since its start time - was founded by Alexander the Great - only the currently most powerful government. Are there any changes in this regard, a new warehouse was built in the now most powerful nation. This action is based, according to the series in that only within the currently most powerful state adequate safeguards to protect the warehouse is guaranteed.

From now report to its director Artie Nielsen, it is their job to maintain the integrity of the artifacts present in the warehouse and to protect them from theft.

The protagonists Myka and Pete are quite different at the beginning. Myka is more logical and rational, Pete emotional and instinctive. The lives of both is dominated by the loss of an important person in her life, which is an important thing in common. Pete lost in his childhood, his father, who perished in a fire brigade, Myka had to watch as her former partner - both were romantically involved at that time - was shot dead by an assassin. Although cooperation initially provoked some disagreement, the partnership welded both together quickly, but a romantic relationship does not arise for now.

The artifacts sometimes develop a life of their own, disappear independently and must be captured again. Often the artifacts of other persons are abused for their own purposes. Pete and Myka they have to convince them to leave the artifacts the warehouse, which is usually associated with complications then.
