Garfield Morgan

Garfield Morgan ( born April 19, 1931 in Birmingham, † December 5, 2009 in London) was a British actor.

Life and career

Before Garfield Morgan attended drama school, he worked as a dental technician.

Morgan began 1955 with acting, where he delivered more than a hundred appearances in various shows. His most famous role was that of Detective Chief Inspector Frank Haskins in the British crime series of the 1970s, The Sweeney. His only two films in which he starred, was the thriller The Odessa File and the end - horror film 28 Weeks Later.

Morgan was married to fellow actress Dilys Laye. However, the couple filed for divorce. At Morgan's hobbies included, among other things, golf and horse riding. Morgan died on 5 December 2009 from cancer.
