Gargunnock

Gargunnock is a village in the Scottish unitary authority Stirling. Gargunnock is about nine kilometers west of Stirling and 28 km north- northeast of the center of Glasgow. In the year 2001 694 inhabitants were recorded.

Between 1795 and 1923, the nationally important whiskey distillery Glenfoyle was operated in Gargunnock location that had emerged from the splitting of the former Kepp distillery. The Easterkepp distillery, which emerged as the second operation from the splitting, was closed in 1842. Today in Gargunnock home to many commuters.
