Gary Jones (actor)

Gary Jones ( born January 4, 1958 in Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom) is an actor of Welsh descent. He gained great fame for his role as Sgt Walter Harriman in the television series Stargate - Kommando SG -1 and Stargate Atlantis as well as the two film sequels Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum. He also had appearances in series such as Sliders, The Outer Limits - The unknown dimension, Andromeda and Dead Like Me

In 1986 he moved to Vancouver ( Canada). Jones is married and has three children.

Prior to joining Stargate Gary Jones was a member of the improvisational group mission improvable and worked for a newspaper in Burlington ( Ontario). He is not only known for his work as Film/Fernseh- and stage actor, but also as a facilitator of events.

Gary Jones is next to Amanda Tapping one of the two actors who have played in all 10 seasons of Stargate SG -1 and all five seasons of Stargate Atlantis. He is also next to Amanda Tapping and Christopher Martin is one of three actors who have starred in the series finals of both series.
