Gaston Floquet

Achille Marie Gaston Floquet (* December 15, 1847 in Epinal, † October 7, 1920 in Nancy) was a French mathematician.

After studying and graduating from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, he worked from 1879 as a professor of pure mathematics and Analysis at the University of Nancy. He gained some achievements by Item to theory of ordinary differential equations ( see set of Floquet ).
