Gateshead Island

Gateshead Iceland is an island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago in the Kitikmeot - Region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

The island lies in M'Clintock Channel, about 50 km east of Victoria Iceland. South of the island of Larsen begins sound. Its area is 220 km ².

It is an important polar bear territory.
