Gaugino

In elementary particle physics gauginos are the hypothetical fermionic superpartners of bosonic gauge fields ( gauge bosons English ).

Survey

The following table lists the gauge fields of the Standard Model (SM) and their super partners according to the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model ( MSSM ) - before breaking of the electroweak and supersymmetry. Next is specified ( via SM and MSSM also going) the hypothetical graviton exchange particles as the gravity with his super partners:

Mixtures

Gauginos mix in a way other than the bosonic gauge fields of the standard model to the mass eigenstates:

  • The gauge bosons mix with the Goldstone bosons to the known elementary particles W - and W - boson, Z - boson and photon.
  • The gauginos mix with the other hand Higgsinos to the electrically charged charginos and neutralinos electrically neutral - until they appear in the theory as observable, ' physical ' particles.
