Gediminas Šerkšnys
Gediminas Šerkšnys ( born February 11, 1948 in Kaunas) is a Lithuanian diplomat.
Life
In 1972 he completed a degree in biophysics from the Kauno medicinos institutas and 1979 received his doctorate in technical cybernetics. He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Energy Problems Kaunas and from 1981 to 1988 at the Institute of Cardiology, Kaunas, then at "Baltic Amadeus ." From 1990 he was a member of the Seimas, 1991-1993 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, 1992 Minister without portfolio, from 1997 Ambassador.
