Geir Atle Wøien

Geir Atle Wøien (born 26 September 1975) is a Norwegian ski jumper.

Wøien jumped first time in 1992 in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup. After he finished his first season in 1992/93 is equal to 107 points 7th place in the standings, he was transferred to the squad for the World Cup Ski Jumping 1993. His debut in the A series, it was on December 11, 1993 in Planica. Already in his second World Cup competition he succeeded with the 8th place in Predazzo winning the first World Cup points and also the highest individual finish of his career in the World Cup. After a further point wins in Bischofshofen, Malmesbury and Liberec, he finished the 1993/94 season at the end on the 37th place in the overall World Cup standings. For the following season Wöien occurred neither in the World Cup still on the Continental Cup.

Even today Wöien jumps active in senior competitions, for example in Ruhpolding.
