Gemini (Swedish band)

Gemini was a Swedish pop group consisting of Karin Glenmark siblings (* 1952) and Anders Glenmark ( b. 1953 ), who was active in the 1980s. Anders Glenmark had previously the chorus of the play One Night In Bangkok from the musical Chess sung and played guitar on the ABBA song Money, Money, Money.

Gemini released two albums, both of which were produced by the former ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and on which they have written numerous titles. On the first album, Gemini from 1985 is a revised version of the unreleased ABBA songs Just Like That. The title Slowly was a remnant from the recordings to Chess in 1984 and Frida for her album Shine leave. For Gemini, he was re-arranged and mixed. The second album contains Geminism of 1987 the title song of the same name Mio My Mio Astrid Lindgren film from the same year. Gemini stood at Polar Music under contract.

Universal Music AB was released in 2005, the Greatest Hits album Gemini - Det Bästa med Karin och Anders Glenmark contains, the famous Gemini songs from the 1980s as well as admissions and remixes. Previously unpublished was among others the Swedish versions of the title Mio My Mio (Mio min Mio ) and Too Much Love Is Wasted (Den som sa det var det).
