Genaro Estrada

Genaro Estrada Félix ( born June 2, 1887 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, † September 29, 1937 in Mexico City) was a Mexican historian and ambassador.

Life

Estrada was an editor of El Diario del monitor Sinaloense and Pacífico. 1911 reported from Morelos on the run from Emiliano Zapata insurgency. In 1912 he moved to Mexico City, he led the editors of El Diario and Enrique González Martínez, he founded the magazine Argos. In 1913 he became a teacher at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (Mexico) and wrote Genaro García ( 1867-1920 ), in an extensive history of Mexico.

The end of 1917 he was appointed Alberto J. Pani [ wp 2] to the head of public relations of the Commerce and Industry Ministry. When Alberto J. Pani 1921 had become Foreign Minister, he called Genaro Estrada Félix Head of the Archives of the Foreign Ministry. In 1927, Genaro Estrada Félix Secretary of State and from 1930 to 1932 head of the Foreign Ministry. On January 20, 1934, he reported to the State Department that he had not submitted its accreditation letter in Lisbon because it was not signed by the incumbent president.

He was a corresponding member of the Mexican Academy of Language and founding member of the Academy of Mexican history, which he chaired from 1917 to December 1937. In addition, he published a novel, Pero Galin (1926 ), and four books of poetry and political satire. As a delegate to the League of Nations he wore in September 1930 before the Doctrina Estrada.
