Geoff Berner

Geoff Berner ( born 1971 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian singer and accordion player from Vancouver, who with a strange mix of klezmer and punk enjoys great success for years.

" I want to make original klezmer music, drunk, dirty, political and passionate. As a Jew of Eastern European descent, I see it as my duty to make this music alive, and they do not keep behind glass like a museum. "
