Geoff Thompson (writer)

Geoff Thompson ( born 1960 in Coventry, England ) is an author and self-defense expert.

Thompson has a black belt in judo and karate.

He has some non-fiction books published about his experiences as a bouncer that deal with the subject of self- defense, coping with anxiety and martial arts. In addition, he has published a number of films. In 2004 he won with his film Brown Paper Bag a BAFTA Award in the category "best short film". In the 2009 released movie Clubbed he wrote the screenplay.
