Geoffrey Bennington
Geoffrey Bennington ( born 1956 ) is an American philosopher and literary critic. Asa Griggs Candler He teaches as a professor of French and comparative literature at Emory University and is a member of the Collège international de philosophie.
Life
Geoffrey Bennington completed a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy at Oxford University. He teaches at several universities. Bennington is also the author of several books, including: Not Half No End: militantly melancholic essays in memory of Jacques Derrida. Bennington documented on a dedicated website Derrida as the UCI affair become public legal battle between the University of California, Irvine, and the family of Derrida.
