Georg Braun (motorcyclist)

George Brown ( born September 2, 1918 in Hechingen, Hohenzollern land, † 1995) was a German motorcycle racer.

Brown began only after the Second World War seriously trying to deny motorcycle racing. In the Motorcycle World Championship 1953, he was ranked 17 in the 125 - cm ³ - class of the motorcycle world championship on FB Mondial. In the 1954 season, he reached number six in the 250cc class at NSU. At the Grand Prix of Switzerland in Bremgarten he finished second behind Rupert Hollaus this year in a rainy race.

After a serious accident in 1955 at the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man Brown returned again, ended his career but a short time later and after many years operating a motorcycle repair shop in his home town of Hechingen.
