Georg Heinrich Kaemmerer

Life

Kaemmerer entered the run from his ancestors since 1750 banking and trading company, which he along with his brother Wilhelm Heinrich Kaemmerer was continuing sons with great success since 1851 under the name GH Kaemmerer, a. Kaemmerer married on April 27, 1855 Emilie ( Emmy ) Helene Goßler (* March 1, 1838 - † April 15, 1910 ) is a daughter of Hermann Goßler. Werner von Melle in 1880 married his daughter Emmy Kaemmerer. A painted of Julius Geertz picture of his daughter Helene (1869-1953) will be exhibited in the Museum of Hamburg History.

Kaemmerer led the same name as his father, so he is often referred to as Kaemmerer junior. According to him, the Kaemmererufer in Hamburg- Winterhude is named.
