Georg Kießling

Georg Kiessling ( born March 7, 1903 in Selbitz, † June 24, 1964 in Fürth ) was a German football player.

Career

Kiessling moved in 1919 with his parents to Fürth and joined the local club SpVgg Fürth tip. In 1924 he managed to jump into the first team. In the following years he made together with Georg Frank the dangerous left wing storm of Fürth. So Kiessling was also involved, as the Spielvereinigung 1926 and 1929 after winning the final against Hertha BSC won the German championship.

1927 against Denmark and Norway came in 1928 against George Kiessling on his only two appearances in the German national soccer team.

In 1932 he moved for professional reasons, the Saarland and joined there the SV 06 Völklingen on. In 1937 he returned to his native Frankish and let his career at FSV 83 Nuremberg finish.
