Georg Kühlewind

Georg Kühlewind ( born March 6, 1924 in Budapest, † January 15, 2006 in Budapest) was a Hungarian chemists, anthroposophical author and meditation teacher.

Biography

Kühlewind grew up as György Székely in Budapest in a secular Jewish family on. An early interest in music and psychology (especially psychoanalysis ). In the anthroposophical scene he made himself especially by his own developed attention training ( see below) - to which he had joined as a 17 year old - a name.

From 1944 on he spent for a compulsory work service more than a year in several German concentration camps, including Buchenwald. In KZ Long -Zwieberge he was released in April 1945 by the Americans.

After the war Kühlewind became professor of physical chemistry at the Technical University in Budapest.
