Georg Lotheissen

Georg Lotheissen ( born September 14, 1868 in Geneva, † October 28, 1941 in Vienna ) was an Austrian surgeon.

Lotheissen studied in Vienna, where he received his doctorate in 1892. He then worked with Emil Zuckerkandl (1849-1910), Theodor Billroth (1829-1894) and Carl Gussenbauer (1842-1903) and from 1895 to 1901 as the first assistant to Viktor von Hacker ( 1852-1933 ) in Innsbruck. In 1899 he was habilitated.

From 1902 he worked at the Kaiser- Franz -Josef -Spital, Vienna. In 1915 he became an associate professor.
