Georg Marchl

Georg Marchl (born 22 January 1964 in Wals ) is an Austrian wrestler of the club AC Wals and brother of wrestler Anton Marchl. He has won in his career 19 Austrian State Championship title.

  • 2nd European Junior Championship in the GDR in 1981 Greco- Roman
  • 1st place Youth World Cup in the USA in 1982 Greco- Roman
  • 3rd place Youth World Cup in the USA in 1981 Greco- Roman and freestyle

He operates in the community Wals with his wife Birgit, a carpentry and interior decoration.
