Georg Uecker

Georg Uecker ( born November 6, 1962 in Munich) is a German - Norwegian actor and author.

Life

Uecker is the son of Heiko Uecker, Professor of Nordic Philology at the University of Bonn, and whose native of Norway, wife Kari.

He studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies, Romance Studies and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Cologne.

Uecker was known mainly as Dr. Carsten Flöter in the television series linden street ( ARD), in 1987 he kissed Günter Barton. It was the first kiss between two men on German television in an evening series. After a second kiss in 1990 with partner Martin Armknecht both actors received several anonymous death threats after the broadcast of the episode. The WDR and Linde Street production company GFF reimbursed then criminal charges. Uecker lives openly homosexual.

Uecker hosted TV shows (among other things he was up to the autumn of 2005 the whisperers in the improvisation comedy show Schiller Street ), was a frequent guest at next Genial and galas and designs television concepts. Uecker is involved in the gay movement, and occurs as " Euro Vision Song Contest expert" every year in various talk shows on.

In films, he played on the side of Ralph Morgenstern and Dirk Bach. By 2005, he produced the Late Night Show Blonde on Friday at ZDF.

Furthermore, the actor is engaged politically and socially. Since 4 September 2007, he is the godfather of Oberstufenzentrum trading 1 ( economy Gymnasium in Berlin- Kreuzberg ) in the project "School without Racism - School with Courage" and since January 27, 2010 Godfather of the project " Holzwickede without Racism - Holzwickede with Courage".
