Die Wache

The guard was a German detective series that was erstausgestrahlt in the period 1994 to 2006 a week from the German private broadcaster RTL.

Action

The series describes typical ( tragic to comic ) stories in a German police station. In this settled at the Cologne Brauerstraße area police and detectives work side by side under one inspection ladder. Inspection head is first Superintendent (later Chief Superintendent ) Karl Schumacher. This is followed by Chief Superintendent Werner Krause, who will be succeeded in turn by Detective Chief Councillor Marianne Stockhausen (Karin Schröder ). According to Stockhausen's resignation there is no new inspection head more. Although this function is mentioned several times in the later ones squadrons, but is no longer in publication.

Service group leader was initially police chief inspector Hans Maybach (Hans Heinz Moser ), which later went into retirement. His successor was Police Chief Commissioner Franz Werner ( Nicholas Neureiter ). The last service group leader was a police chief superintendent Ulf Schelling.

The management of the criminal investigation department consisted of:

  • Detective Chief Commissioner Renee Engels ( Tanya Neufeldt )
  • Detective Inspector Frank Fischer, (Leon bottom )

Temporarily out ( 1996-1998 ) there was a ETK team (insert troop command ), which was responsible for undercover assignments. It was headed by Detective Chief Master Jürgen Pfeiffer (Uwe Kockisch ). This team worked independently and was not subject to the DGL and the criminal police. Pfeiffer was subordinated Stockhausen and prosecutor Romans. His team included the Polizeiobermeister van Eck and Polizeihauptmeister Ehrhard (Hans Heller).

Trivia

  • In the series, there is a German adaptation of the British series " The Bill", which aired from 1983 to 2010 on the British commercial broadcaster ITV. Another German-language offshoot applies SOKO Leipzig.
  • While " The Bill" put it in a 2400 episode, was achieved in " The Guard " only about one tenth of this number sequence.
  • Drastic changes in the cast, there are, for example, from the effects of 53, 69, 95 and 120
