The Bill is a British police series (ITV ) aired on October 16, 1984 until August 31, 2010 the British television Independent Television. In Germany, the series was never shown. On RTL but ran from 1994 to 2006 weekly German adaptation under the title The guard and the ZDF could 2009 crossover between The Bill and Soko Leipzig see ( kidnapping in London).

History

The Bill emerged from a 1983 television film produced, which showed the daily work of patrol officers. A year later they began producing the series, Geoff McQueen, she produced only under the name of Old Bill. Later they were called to definitively in The Bill.
