George Trakas

George Trakas (* 1944 in Quebec Canada ) is an American- Canadian sculptor and landscape architect.

Life and work

Trakas was born in 1944 in Canada and emigrated in 1963 in the United States after New York City. He was married from 1971 to 1979 with Susan Rothenberg. The marriage produced a daughter emerged.

The works of Trakas are mostly walkable and demand as an interaction between sculpture and viewer.
