George V Coast

The Georg V. Coast (English George V Coast) is a coastal section of the continent Antarctica. It is located between Point Alden ( at 142 ° 02 'E) and Cape Hudson ( at 153 ° 45 ' E). She was discovered at the First Australasian Antarctic Expedition ( 1911-1914 ). The expedition was led by Douglas Mawson, who named the coast to George V of Great Britain and Ireland.

Also in the second portion of the eighth GANOVEX expedition from 1999 to 2000, the focus of geological and geophysical activities was in the area before the Oates and Georg V. Coast.
