George W. Joseph State Natural Area

The George W. Joseph State Natural Area is a state park in Multnomah County in the U.S. state of Oregon. The 60 -acre park is located in the Columbia River Gorge, access is via paths from the 76 m high Latourell Falls by Guy W. Talbot State Park adjacent. The park area was George W. Joseph, a Senator of the State of Oregon. He and his heirs donated 1934 and 1942 a total of 32 hectares of the state of Oregon, 1959, the additional parking area of Multnomah County was purchased. The use of the park is free of charge. The park is located at the headwaters of Latourell Creek and is densely forested. A path leads to the 36 m high Upper Latourell Falls.
