Georges Lacombe (film director)
Georges Lacombe ( born August 19, 1902 in Paris, † 14 April 1990 in Cannes) was a French film director.
Life
Georges Lacombe began his film career as an assistant director René Clair. From the beginning of the 30s to Lacombe established as a versatile director who was in several genres at home. In contrast to his early years in which he had made as an innovative filmmaker a name, Lacombe served later without further claims the entertainment cinema. In his final working years he worked mainly for television.
