Georgi Burkov
Georgi Ivanovich Burkow (Russian Георгий Иванович Бурков, scientific transliteration Georgy Ivanovich Burkov; born May 31, 1933, Perm, Soviet Union, † July 19, 1990 in Moscow, Soviet Union) was a Soviet actor.
Life
From 1952 to 1956 Burkow studied law at the University of Perm. From 1955 to 1958 he attended the evening studio of Perm Drama Theatre. Subsequently, he worked in theaters Perms, Kemerowos and other cities. From 1965 he was an actor at the Stanislavsky Theatre, and from 1970 to 1971 at the Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow. From 1980, he worked at MCHAT from 1984 to 1987, he was part of the ensemble of the Moscow Pushkin Theatre. From 1988 he was director of the Schukschin Cultural Centre. In 1990, he died in Moscow at a thrombosis. He was buried at the cemetery Wagankowoer.
Burkow starred in many films, including in the film Irony of Fate. He also starred in six films and animated films as a voice actor.
