Georgi Peev

Georgi Pejew ( born March 11, 1979 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian footballer who currently plays for Amkar Perm. He plays primarily in right midfield.

Career

Pejew began his career in 1997 at Lokomotiv Sofia and at the age of 21 by Valery Lobanovsky, then coach Dynamo Kiev, discovered and taken for 2.5 million € of Kiev under contract. He played from 2001 to 2005 for Kiev and was three times Ukrainian champion and two- time Ukrainian Cup winners in that time, among other things. In the first half of 2006, he played on loan for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. 2007 joined the Bulgarian to Russian first division side Amkar Perm and was elected to his first season for the fans favorite players.

Pejew played since his debut in 1999 47 times for Bulgaria, but remained goalless. He also participated in Portugal at the 2004 European Football Championship.
