Gerald Freihofner

Gerald free Hofner ( born July 30, 1946 in Steyr, Upper Austria ) is an Austrian journalist.

Between 1974 and 1990 he was Head of the domestic political weekly press (1991 renamed the business week) in the editorship. His research in countless cover stories is due to the discovery of the backgrounds in the case Lucona that had the resignation of two ministers result. 1995 to 2001 he was a visiting professor at the Danube University in Krems ( EJA - European Journalism Academy ).

For many years, free Hofner has led the Friedrich Funder Institute for training of journalists and media research as president and is currently working as a freelance journalist in Vienna and Lower Austria.

Free Hofner is a member of the Catholic fraternity KAV Norica in the ACA.
