Gerard Davis

Gerard Davis (born 25 September 1977) is a New Zealand soccer player who is currently the Glenfield Rovers active in his home country. In addition, he played from 2000 to 2003 for the New Zealand national football team.

Career

Davis played until 1998 at Stanford University in California football before in his homeland he returned in 2000 to the Football Kingz. In 2002, he played for one season at the Finnish first division club Tampere United, for whom he completed eight games. In 2003 he moved to the Eastern Suburbs Auckland, 2005, he played for Waitakere United. In 2006, he finally signed a contract with the Glenfield Rovers from Auckland, for which he is still active today.

With the national team of his country win the Davis was 2002 OFC Nations Cup. He made his debut in June 2000 at the match against Vanuatu. In total, he completed 23 internationals.
