Gerhard Urain

Gerhard Urain ( born August 30, 1972 in Rottenmann ) is a former Austrian cross-country skiers. He was from 1992 to 2005 in the World Cup active.

His home club is the SC rotting man. During his active years as a top athlete he could walk a few times in the World Cup points and ranks among the top ten in the cross-country World Cup. His greatest successes in the World Cup set two sixth places (one of them in the relay ) and three eighth places in 2000 dar.

Where major events he could retract his best result at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City in 2002 with a fourth place in the men's relay. The bronze medal was missed while the final sprint against Germany.
