German Brain Tumor Association

The German Hirntumorhilfe eV is an independent, nonprofit organization promoting neuro- oncology research and improve patient care. It was founded on 1 August 1998.

The seat of the association is Leipzig. According to the company, the club has about 700 members from 14 countries and is the only organization in German-speaking countries, specifically committed to the interests of brain tumor patients.

According to the motto " Knowledge creates the future " patients and medical staff will be provided the latest information on standards and progress in the therapy of brain tumors is available. Brain cancer and brain metastases patients will be offered support and assistance.

In 2000, the Club World Brain Tumor Day (World Brain Tumor Day), which takes place as a memorial and action initiated on June 8.
