German Sports Badge#Bavarian Sports Badge

The Bavarian Sport Achievement Badge, abbreviated BSLA, was awarded the Bavarian State Sports Association to adults after they have achieved a certain, different types of athletic performance in recreational sport. The BSLA was awarded from 1948 to 2012. Reason was the reform of the German Sports Badge, which includes from 2013 also different power levels.

There were three power levels - bronze, silver and gold - and was awarded by handing a certificate and possibly shown by the athlete through badges. Depending on the level of performance achieved the badge once a year either in bronze, silver or gold was awarded if the performance were achieved within one calendar year in all five groups, thereby once compensation was allowed, that is achieved by the candidate for the silver achievement in a group a gold power so enough in another group the bronze power to compensate.
