Gerry Mayer

Gerry Mayer ( born August 3, 1960 in Vienna) is an Austrian sculptor.

Life

Gerhard Mayer attended the Higher Technical Institute in Bregenz, after its completion, he was engineer. From 1976 on he made drawings and sculptural works, mostly in bronze but also in steel, Raku and other materials. From 1985 to 1997 Mayer led thematic studies in North and South America, Asia and Europe. Since 2005 he is teaching activities according to the Academy Geras and Kunstfabrik Vienna ( figurative modeling ).

Since 2008 he lives and works in the Vorarlberg community Dünserberg.
