Get Hyper is a song by the British producer Droideka. It can be associated with the genre of Drum and Bass and first appeared in July 2011, a revised version January 2013. March 2013 was also publishes a remix EP, on the addition to the normal track a VIP version, a dubstep remix and a Trap remix are included.

Background

"Get Hyper" was originally released on July 23, 2011 on YouTube Promotions Channel ByeByeCopyright. The well-known YouTuber KSIOlajidebt used on 27 August 2012 ( civil Olajide Olatunji ) the song in his video "Q & A Sunday |! BEST WISHES EVER ", then found the song a few more times with him use. As a result, the track was popular and Droideka decided to revise it. From the 4th January 2013, the new version on droidekas YouTube channel was listenable, as a single it was available from 22 January.

Music Video

The official music video was released on March 6, 2013 Olatunjis YouTube channel. It shows various people and mainly himself dancing to the song. Droideka can be seen only in a few places. Until August 2013 it reached about 4.4 million views.

Reception

Charts

"Get Hyper" could get into the Irish and in the British charts. In Ireland, the song came on February 7, 2013, No. 89, a week later it was no longer represented there in the charts. In the UK Top 40, it stayed seven weeks, the maximum placement was ranked 29

Criticism

Scott Mills of BBC Radio 1 said "Get Hyper" of 25 February 2013 to March 3, 2013 for " Big Thing " ( " big deal " ) of the week. An author of b2control.com wrote that the track would be " instantly rousing, full of raw energy and momentum, for dancing, and make it easy to say, brilliant. " ( " Droideka debut release ' Get Hyper ' is aninstantly catchy, old skool inspired drum and bass roller [ ... ], it is full of raw energy and swing and danceable Ultimately, . put quite simply, it is brilliant " ) London Elektricity (Tony Colman ) was of" Get Hyper ". not convinced: "Grade belongs to the new Droideka track.
