Getterön

Getterön is a peninsula in the municipality of Varberg, Halland County, Sweden, immediately northwest of the capital of Varberg. Getterön was an island until 1936, the strait between the mainland and Getterön filled with dredged material and a road was built.

On Getterön there are two nature reserves Getteröns nature reserve ( established 1970) and Västra Getteröns nature reserve ( established 1974).
