Gheytarieh

Gheytarieh (also Qeytarieh ) is a district in the northeast of Tehran. It is located in the district Shimran and has about 150 000 inhabitants.

Gheytarieh is known for its eponymous park, where the Prime Minister Amir Kabir kadscharische lived. Today Gheytarieh with its many restaurants is a popular destination for young people. Neighbouring districts are: Kaveh, Hekmat, Chizar, Boulat, Dibaji and Darrous.
