Gianfranco Facco Bonetti

Gianfranco Facco Bonetti ( born April 19, 1940 in Galeata, Italy ) is an Italian lawyer, diplomat and a Knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta. Since 2008 he has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Order of Malta to the Russian Federation.

Facco Bonetti was from 2001 to 2006, the Italian ambassador to Russia. He returned in 2008 and handed over on 22 April 2008 Russian President Vladimir Putin, the credentials of the Order of Malta.

Facco Bonetti is president of the United World College of the Adriatic.
