Galeata

Galeata is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2527 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Forlì -Cesena in the Emilia- Romagna. The municipality is situated approximately 27.5 kilometers south-southwest of Forlì and about 30.5 kilometers southwest of Cesena. Through the community of Bidente flows. Until the end of 1923 Galeata still belonged to the region of Tuscany.

Traffic

The former Strada Statale 310 del Bidente (now the provincial road 4R) leads from Poppi by the municipality to Forli.
