Modigliana

Modigliana is a town with 4654 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Forlì- Cesena.

The neighboring communities are Brisighella, Forli e Terra del Sole, Dovadola, Marradi, Rocca San Casciano and Tredozio.

History

In February 1167 was born in Modigiliana Konrad von Staufen, the third son of Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa and Beatrix of Burgundy; Konrad was 1170, at the age of three years, when Frederick V was appointed Duke of Swabia.
