Gianluca Grignani

Gianluca Grignani ( born April 7, 1972 in Milan ) is an Italian singer-songwriter.

Biography

Gianluca Grignani grew up in the northern periphery of the Lombard metropolis and moved to Brianza 17 years. Early Gianluca began, under the influence of The Beatles and The Police, as well as various Italian singer-songwriters, such as Lucio Battisti, to write their own songs and perform them in the bars in his neighborhood.

Of decisive importance for his musical career was meeting with guitarist and producer Massimo Luca, who gave him contacts with the major record companies. In 1994 he was presented by Polygram on the Music Festival of San Remo with the single La mia storia tra le dita. A year later, Gianluca Grignani made ​​the breakthrough with the album Destinazione Paradiso, which within a year, two million copies sold and for which he was awarded the prize Telegatto.
