Gianni Da Ros

Gianni Da Ros ( born August 26, 1986 in Pordenone ) is an Italian former racing driver who briefly ran for the UCI ProTour team Liquigas 2009.

Ros was on 11 March 2009 Since arrested by the Italian police, because acute suspicion was that he was acting in illegal doping substances. His team then dismissed him without notice. In November of the same year, the then 23 -year-old Liquigas- professional has been finally condemned by the national anti-doping agency in Italy because of trade in doping substances to a record lock of 20 years. In August 2010, the International Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced the sentence to four years, which will now expire on 23 November 2013.
