Gibbaeum

Gibbaeum is a plant genus of the family of Mesembryanthemum plants ( Aizoaceae ). The botanical name is derived from the Latin gibba = tuberculate.
Description
There are very succulent, mostly cushion -shaped growing plants with short axes.
Systematics and distribution
The species are mainly in the Little Karoo in South Africa ( capensis) and spread to adjacent areas. The genus includes the following species:
