Gil Kenan

Gil Kenan ( born October 16, 1976 in London, England, UK ) is an Israeli- American director. He was director of the film Monster House, a computer-animated thriller from the year 2006.

Director Kenan won the UCLA Spotlight Award for his live action / animated horror - fantasy short film The Lark. For this film, he also received an award from the Creative Artists Agency (CAA ). Kenan reaped, in addition, in 2001 /02 both the British Academy Fellowship and the 2001/ 02 Lew Wasserman Fellowship for a film production. To connect with Monster House, Kenan started with work at City of Ember, an adaptation of screenwriter Caroline Thompson on the book by Jeanne DuPrau, for Walden Media and Playtone.
