Giorgos Arvanitis

Giorgos Arvanitis, Yorgos Arvanitis also (Greek Γιώργος Αρβανίτης, born February 22, 1941 in Dilofo, Fthiotida, Greece) is a Greek cinematographer.

Career

Giorgos Arvanitis was trained as an electrician and began in the early 1960s at the Greek film as a gaffer and camera wizard to work. His film debut as the main cinematographer he was in the 1965 published and directed by Kostas Lyhnaras and Theodoros Angelopoulos Music Comedy Peripeteies me tous Forminx. For Angelopoulos he showed himself been responsible for all of its feature films as a cameraman. Furthermore, he used a multi-year collaboration with Pantelis Voulgaris and Jean -Jacques Andrien.
