Giovan Battista Langetti

Giovan Battista Langetti (* 1635 in Genoa, † October 22, 1676 in Venice, Giovanni Battista or Giambattista also Langetti ) was an Italian painter of the late Baroque period, who worked in Genoa, Rome and Venice.

In its main site of Venice, he was an apprentice of JF Cassana. His contemporary was J. Carl Loth. Works of G. are in the Church of St. Theresa ( panel next to the main altar).
