Giovanni Battista Tommasi

Fra ' Giovanni Battista Tommasi de Cortona ( born October 6, 1731 in Italy, † June 13, 1805 in Catania, Sicily, Italy) was on 9 February 1803 to his death (1805 ) the 73rd Grand Master of the Order of Malta.

Tommasi was the last recognized by the Pope Grand Master of the Order for 75 years.

During his short reign, there was the exile of 1798 distributed by the Order of Malta to February 1804 in Messina, then in Catania.
